SEO Specialist

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our fully remote digital marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven search engine optimization strategies to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and drive measurable business growth.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, technical SEO expertise, and a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword strategy, and content optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies (on-page, off-page, and technical SEO)

Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities

Optimize website structure, metadata, internal linking, and content for improved search visibility

Perform technical SEO audits and resolve indexing, crawlability, and performance issues

Monitor website analytics and track KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates

Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to align SEO initiatives

Build and manage high-quality backlink strategies

Stay current with industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices

Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of professional SEO experience

Strong knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar tools

Experience with HTML, CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.), and basic technical SEO principles

Solid understanding of content strategy and keyword mapping

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a remote environment

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with e-commerce SEO

Familiarity with paid search (PPC) and integrated digital marketing strategies

Knowledge of schema markup and structured data

Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
