Job Description - SEO Specialist

Overview:

Responsibilities:
Manage planning, execution, and analysis of SEO initiatives including keyword analysis and meta data optimization and support for content creation and local search listings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement SEO best practices, execute day-to-day tactical website updates, and drive optimization and growth by following the SEO roadmap.
Identify and analyze technical SEO issues to ensure effective bot crawling of the website, providing feedback and support to developers to drive improvements.
Support local SEO support for retail locations.
Monitor and manage SEO performance weekly; communicate performance/activities to leadership and relevant partners.
Monitor and react to any changes made by the team that may be detrimental to SEO.
Conduct UAT on design and execution and evaluate for critical SEO elements.
Discover and monitor changes within the algorithm and wider industry changes and subsequent impacts on the industry.
Benchmark and monitor competitor performance and activities.
Work cross-functionally with Brand, CRM, Growth Marketing, and Tech teams to clarify, interpret, and implement strategic organic search concepts, advancing the channel goals and driving meaningful improvements throughout the site experience.
Other duties as assigned.
Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the office, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
This is a full-time role that offers a hybrid work schedule

Qualifications:
Excellent project management skills
2+ years in an SEO role
Have an in-depth knowledge on algorithm ranking factors
Experience using common SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, STAT, BrightEdge, SeoClarity, Yext, RioSEO, Uberall, etc.)
Have a curious mindset with a passion for staying on top of the latest SEO changes and evolutions
Self-driven with a commitment to keeping your technical skills and knowledge up to date
Must have an inquisitive mind which drives you to understand Google's algorithms and predict what changes might be coming
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Experience with enterprises working across multiple brands/domains
Ability to commute to a Corporate office, in Carrollton, TX or Wichita, KS
