We’re a local, nonprofit agency that helps New Mexicans find jobs and gain access to specialized social services and the revenue generated from our Retail Stores. Our free programs and services are funded primarily by revenue generated through the sale of donated clothing, housewares, furniture, and more.

We are interviewing for the following three roles.

Retail Associate: 

A Retail Associate is the first face, customers see when shopping or donating, duties include cashiering, accepting and processing donations and provides customer service in a professional and courteous manner. $13/hour, guaranteed 38 hours a week.

Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

• High School Diploma/GED, preferred.
• One year retail work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred. 

Retail Lead: 

A Retail Lead assists in maintaining coverage on the sales floor, processing area and donation center and assumes responsibilities for all retail operations in the absence of other retail management members.

Day-to-day responsibilities consist of customer service, training employees, assisting the Manager/Assistant Manager in planning, assigning and directing work, cash accountability and securing company assets, just to name a few. GINM is committed to providing employees with what they need to be successful.  $14.75/hour, guaranteed 38 hours a week.

Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. 

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years retail work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Assistant Manager: 

An Assistant Manager assists in the planning, coordination and direction of daily activities related to the successful operations of the retail store. Assumes responsibility for the store site in the absence of the retail store manager.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include customer service, training employees, assists in planning, coordination and direction in daily activities related to the successful operation of the retail store. We are committed to giving our employees what they need to be successful. $16.25/hour, guaranteed 38 hours a week.

Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Individuals must have a valid New Mexico driver’s license, liability insurance, insurability under the agency insurance carrier, dependable vehicle and a clean driving record. 

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Three years of progressive work experience in retail including one-year supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
