Description

Robert Giacomini Dairy, home of Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Cheese Squad. As a Server, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service, showcasing our premium cheeses, and representing our esteemed farm and creamery.

Weekend Position: 

· Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts with potential for additional weekday shifts 

Position Details: 

· Hours: 9 AM - 4 PM 

· Compensation: $22 - $25 /per hour

Requirements

· Customer Service: Provide friendly, attentive, and helpful service to customers, ensuring they have an enjoyable shopping experience.  

· Product Knowledge: Share detailed knowledge about our selection of cheeses, including flavor profiles and ideal pairings to help customers make informed choices.  

· Farm Information: Educate customers about our farm, its sustainable practices, and how our cheeses are made, connecting them to the source of the products they’re purchasing.  

· Sales Support: Assist with restocking products, keeping displays organized and attractive, and ensuring products are fresh and well-maintained.  

· Point of Sale: Handle cash register transactions efficiently and accurately. 

Qualifications: 

· Strong interest in cheese and food. 

· Excellent communication and customer service skills. 

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

· Reliable, friendly and team-oriented. 

Prior Experience (preferred but not required) 

· Experience in retail, customer service or food sales is a plus.   

· Knowledge of cheese or food products is also highly valued.
