Zinc @ Shade Hotel Manhattan Beach is looking for an experienced server ready to take on a new adventure with our awesome team!

What you will do . .

• Provide any information regarding menu
• Perform any task necessary to provide high quality customer experience
• Assist guests in food & beverage selection
• Deliver food to the proper table in a timely fashion
• Check dishes/orders for accuracy
• Take additional orders when necessary
• Respond to guest’s needs
• Provide anything needed by guest for their dining experience
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to present food professionally
• Deliver payment in a timely manner

This job is for you if you . .

• Are friendly!
• Have at least two years of restaurant experience.
• Able to deliver orders promptly, accurately and efficiently.
• Make a positive impression at all times.
• Guest oriented with high focus on delivering quality service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to expedite orders, attend to customers’ needs and possess a strong desire to fulfill the desires of the customers at all times.
• Ability to engage in casual conversation with customers without sounding too personal.
• Handling pressure well along with the ability to set priorities and make decisions based on quality.
• Must be well dressed and well spoken.

Parking Instructions: You are more than welcome to pull into the Valet parking and let them know you are there for an interview or there is metered parking along the street. There are 2 metered parking lots at the bottom of Manhattan Beach Blvd. As well as metered street parking up and down Manhattan Beach Blvd. As well as an underground metered parking structure in Metlox.
