We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team at Tannahill Tavern & Music Hall. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.

Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS systems.

Provide recommendations to enhance guest dining experiences through upselling techniques.

Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining proper presentation standards.

Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and timely food preparation.

Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.

Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure guest health and safety.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.

Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.

Knowledge of culinary practices, food handling, and sanitation standards is essential.

Experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus.

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant schedule.
