We have an opportunity for a Restaurant Server to join our Food & Beverage service team at the Sanibel Island Beach Resort! A beloved boutique hotel on the edge of the Gulf of Mexico, Sanibel Island Beach Resort wraps guests in a warm embrace of Old Florida Charm. Our Restaurant Server opportunity is a great full-time position OR a great part-time option for extra money or to get an introduction to hospitality with a potential to transition to a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests in a timely manner with a professional friendly tone


• Provide attentive, efficient, friendly service following our SOP’s


• Willing to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays


• Complete all opening side work to prepare yourself for the shift


• Complete all closing side work at end of shift


• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage


• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods


• Follow all policies and procedures


• Responsible for personal hygiene, grooming, clean uniform, and professional appearance


• Responsible for punctuality when reporting to work, and clocking in only after being in full uniform


• Maintains cleanliness of all dining and patio areas

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends. 


• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required


• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required


• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages
