Enosburgh Diner presents a fun and nostalgic setting for Guests to enjoy good food and great service. We are open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering a combination of classic diner menu items and healthy creations. Our mission is to provide a satisfying dining experience in a fun environment while creating sustainable jobs and using locally grown ingredients. PRIMARY
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create a positive guest experience through engaging interaction and product knowlege.
• Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items in order to make recommendations
• Answer questions about food, beverages, and other functions and services
• Utilize seat-specific ordering in order not to auction food when it is delivered to the table
• Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS system
• Monitor food quality and presentation standards
• Ensure guests are satisfied with their food and service
• Respond promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern
• Monitor the cleanliness of section and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
• Be thoroughly familiar with the causes of food contamination and the methods of prevention
• Follow all food safety standards and systems
• Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
• Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
• Establish emotional connection with guests
• Understand the needs of the table and adjust service based on guest needs
• Other duties as assigned or required

Experience is a plus, but not a must.

A positive attitude, passion for service, and desire for growth.

Flexible schedule, the ability to work evenings, and weekends is a plus.

Teamwork is huge and the ability to communicate well with both guests and co-workers is a must.

Ability to spend long hours on your feet a must.
