Server

Responsibilities
This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Present menus to customers and answer questions regarding menu items, making personalized recommendations upon request.


• Check in with customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take immediate action to correct any issues or complaints.


• Prepare itemized receipts, including total meal costs and sales taxes, and securely process customer payments.


• Assist in wiping down and sanitizing tables after customers have finished dining.


• Perform other similar and related duties as needed to support kitchen and front-of-house operations.
  


• Roll silverware, stock food service stations, and prepare dining areas for the next shift or for large group reservations.


• Assist in clearing dishes, silverware, and glassware from tables for cleaning.


• Verify customer identification when necessary to ensure compliance with minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverage consumption.


• Accurately take and record food and/or beverage orders from guests.

Requirements

• Must have at least three (3) months of prior full-time experience as a server/waiter in a food service establishment (excluding delicatessens, fast food, or cafeterias).


• Must be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
  


• Must be able to stand and walk without sitting for extended periods.


• Must be available to work split shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.


• Experience must be verifiable.


• Bilingual; must have advanced English skills (C1)


• Be a Honduran citizen within Honduran territory during the hiring process.


• Over 21 years old.


• Valid Passport (for at least 12 months before its expiration)


• Not holding an overextended stay with a tourist visa.


• Not having an illegal immigration record in the US.


• No criminal record and must present certificate proof (Constancia de Antecedentes Penales).
