 About the Role

Join the Food and Beverage team at Escondido Golf & Lake Club, where we're dedicated to exceeding expectations for our Members and their guests. As a Food & Beverage Server, you'll deliver the "Escondido Experience" — anticipating Member needs and providing hospitality that feels personal, polished, and consistent every time.

What You'll Do

• Follow our established Steps of Service to ensure a consistent experience for every Member and guest
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into our POS (Jonas) system
• Explain menu items, daily specials, and cocktail offerings with confidence
• Prepare hot/cold beverages, chill wine, and serve wine tableside with proper presentation
• Check in with Members and guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns
• Set up and break down dining areas, including linens, silverware, and glassware
• Learn and remember Member preferences to provide personalized service
• Follow all TABC rules and regulations
• Work collaboratively with teammates to complete daily and weekly checklists
• Assist with banquet service and bartending as needed
• Stay current on Club events and uphold Escondido's Core Values and Credo

 What You'll Need

• Strong communication skills — both listening and clearly conveying information
• Basic math skills for order and payment accuracy
• Ability to learn menu details, wine pairings, and service standards
• Willingness to obtain TABC and Food Handler certifications
• A team-first mindset with a genuine desire to help others
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
