Server

• Greet members and guests promptly with a warm, professional demeanor.


• Present menus, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food and beverage selections.


• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the club's point-of-sale (POS) system.


• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.


• Anticipate member needs by providing attentive, personalized service throughout the dining experience.


• Monitor tables to refill beverages, clear used dishes, and ensure guest satisfaction.


• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service.


• Handle member requests, concerns, and special dietary needs with professionalism and urgency.


• Prepare dining areas before service, including setting tables, stocking service stations, and ensuring cleanliness.


• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned.


• Assist with private events, banquets, golf tournaments, weddings, and special club functions.


• Maintain compliance with all health, sanitation, food safety, and alcohol service regulations.


• Support fellow team members to ensure efficient operations and an exceptional member experience.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred; private club, fine dining, or upscale hospitality experience is a plus.


• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.


• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.


• Professional appearance and positive attitude.


• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.


• Food Handler and Alcohol Service certifications (or ability to obtain) as required by state or local regulations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.


• Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 40 pounds.


• Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.


• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Work Environment
This position works in a professional private country club setting where outstanding hospitality, attention to detail, and personalized member service are the foundation of every interaction.
