Trio Supply Chain Solutions, a leader in electronics brokerage and IT asset disposition (ITAD), is currently seeking an experienced Server Hardware Engineer to join our technical team. This pivotal role encompasses the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of server hardware systems within the ITAD segment. The ideal candidate will exhibit a robust understanding of server architecture, hardware components, and systems integration, thereby ensuring optimal functionality and sustainability of our IT asset disposal processes.

Key responsibilities include evaluating and refurbishing server hardware systems, conducting performance assessments, and facilitating repairs as required. The Server Hardware Engineer will also collaborate closely with other engineering and sales teams to enhance product offerings while ensuring compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations. Furthermore, you will play an integral part in the identification of potential hardware refurbishments that contribute to sustainability goals and cost-efficiency.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in server hardware design, evaluation, and technical support. Advanced knowledge of server components, storage systems, and virtualization technologies is essential. Familiarity with ITAD processes, environmental legislation, and asset management frameworks will be considered a strong advantage. The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, are critical for success in this position.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in server hardware design and evaluation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of server architecture, hardware components, and storage systems.
• Familiarity with IT asset disposition processes and applicable environmental regulations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair server hardware issues effectively.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies is a plus.
