JOB SUMMARY: as primary server for all guests. Provide guest with exceptional service. Maintain high service standards.  

RESTAURANT: LAKEVIEW- Upscale casual dining; We serve inspirational contemporary Mediterranean cuisine and beverage.  

PRIMARY DUTIESAND FUNVTIONS:

• Input orders into a POS
• Serve guest following sequence of service
• Know menu items and any special circumstances in your station (VIPs, cakes, etc.)
• Get your station ready.
• Ensure tables are cleared for next course.
• Keep your station clean during the meal service period.
• In general, work to create a pleasant experience for your guests in all respects.
• Complete assigned side work

HAZARDS ENCOUNTERED: Spills or grease on walking surfaces; broken glassware or china; hot food, dished and beverages. Please note that a more complete job description with a detailed description of service procedures is available to you in the Dining Room Service Manual.

• Must have an open mind while handling customer service
• Must be able to work alone, without supervision and be self-motivated
• Must be able to work in a team
• Ability to speak, write, and understand English
• Perform duties quickly and efficiently
• Must be able to stand entire shift
• Excellent communications  

AVAILABILITY:

• Schedule flexible to meet needs. Skytop Lodge offers many amenities for employees and families!
• Part-time position available, must be able to work holidays and weekends.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to work and be “on your feet” for long hours each day. Must be able to lift and carry trays ranging in weight from one (1) to fifty (50) pounds. Must be able to assist in the moving of furniture when setups for meals or special functions are in process.
