Miss Lucille's Café, a favorite local eatery in Clarksville, TN, is renowned for its southern-inspired cuisine and fresh, inviting atmosphere. We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and dedicated Server to join our growing front-of-house team. As a server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a locally-owned and growing cafe in the heart of Clarksville. Expectations:
Greet Miss Lucille’s Café guests upon their arrival, and maintain a positive and professional approach with team members and guests.
Become a menu expert- provide recommendations, upsell items, answer questions, etc.
Table service- including taking orders from guests and accurately sending orders to the kitchen using the POS system
Prepare and serve alcoholic drinks, non-alcoholic drinks, and menu items in accordance with standard recipes
Required to obtain TABC within the first 30 days of employment; assistance in obtaining and reimbursement of cost after 90 days of employment available
Process transactions using the POS system, prepare checks for guests, and maintain cash handling protocols
Ensure the Café counter, dining room, beverage stations, walkways, and stock rooms stay clean and organized
Uphold and comply with all health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies
What You'll Bring:
At least 18 years or older
Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Prior serving experience is required
A positive attitude and teamwork mentality
Self-starter who can work independently but also take direction from supervisors
Ability to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
Good with math - you must be able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 20+ pounds.

Pay Rate: $2.15 an hour plus tips
Shift:
Day Shifts, 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. availability, minimum 4-5 days a week
Weekend and Holiday availability required, Open availability preferred
