Join the opening team at Moxy Hotel & Residence Inn Portland Thompson’s Point, a brand-new dual-branded Marriott hotel bringing fresh energy, style, and hospitality to one of Portland’s most exciting waterfront destinations, opening Summer 2026. As home to the first Moxy hotel in Northern New England, this is a chance to be part of something new from the very beginning — welcoming guests to a vibrant stay steps from Thompson’s Point’s concerts, events, dining, and culture.
We’re opening the doors to something new—and we need Servers who bring the energy.
As a Server on our opening team, you’ll be the face of the restaurant, creating memorable dining experiences from the very first guest we welcome. If you love connecting with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and know how to keep things fun while staying on point, this is your time to shine.
This isn’t just serving—it’s setting the vibe.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Greeting every guest with a smile, eye contact, and genuine hospitality
Taking food and beverage orders and keeping service flowing smoothly
Delivering meals, drinks, and everything in between with accuracy and energy
Knowing the menu inside and out so you can answer questions and make recommendations
Making sure every dish is exactly right—because details matter
Clearing and resetting tables quickly to keep the space fresh and inviting
Handling payments and closing out checks efficiently
Keeping your area stocked, clean, and ready for the next guest
Jumping in to support the team wherever needed
You’ll Fit Right In If You:
Love talking to people and making connections
Bring positive, upbeat energy to every shift
Can think on your feet and stay cool under pressure
Are quick, organized, and detail-focused
Work well with a team and communicate clearly
Take pride in creating a great guest experience
Are flexible with scheduling (nights, weekends, holidays—it’s hospitality life!)
Bonus Points If You Have:
Previous serving experience
Familiarity with POS systems
