SUMMARY

To assist in managing and supervising all phases of automotive service shop operation, parts purchasing, scheduling of all repair service, and superior customer communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Customer Service
• Works with customers during all process of their repair
• Helps diagnose and isolate the customer's concerns
• Test drive vehicles with customers
• Contact customers for verbal authorization of repairs 
• Provide alternative payment methods when necessary
• Prepares repair estimates and repair orders
• Reminds customers of necessary preventative and scheduled maintenances
• Promotes sales of preventative maintenance/flush services
• Monitor Demand Force, Podium, and email continuously
• Conducts or delegates Thank you / follow up calls to customers within 2 days of service
• Responsible for neat, clean and attractive appearance of shop
• Reconciles daily sales, calculates daily cash drawer and records daily sales
• Prepares daily reports, customer repair orders and daily packets for submission
• Ordering of parts for inventory and resale
• Orders and receives supplies and parts as needed
• Tracks part returns and cores to ensures credits are received
• Manage and Maintain Individual KPI Goals
• Actively price parts to ensure the company is receiving the best value

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent Customer Service - providing that WOW experience
• Technical skills from working as a technician or having formal automotive service training is necessary
• Experience with cash drawers and reconciliation of received cash
• Experience with parts pricing/ordering
• Sales experience is highly preferred
• Current Driver’s License with a good driving record is mandatory

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalency
• At least 2 years of related experience and/or training is preferred
• Required to obtain and retain ASE certification in Service: Automobile Service Consultant
