POSITION SUMMARY:

The Service Advisor is responsible for communicating repair recommendations, providing cost and time estimates, and keeping customers informed throughout the repair process. This role requires excellent customer service skills, technical understanding of automotive systems, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position demands flexibility, teamwork, and the capability to work overtime, including Saturdays, when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to):

· Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including Saturdays and overtime when required.

· Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner, accurately document vehicle concerns, and clearly communicate repair and maintenance needs.

· Collaborate with technicians to review findings and prepare accurate service estimates, timelines, and recommendations for customers.

· Provide timely updates to customers throughout the repair process and communicate any changes in service scope, pricing, or delivery times.

· Promote additional service opportunities based on vehicle inspections and manufacturer guidelines.

· Maintain accurate service records, ensure proper documentation in the system, and uphold compliance with company, federal, and state guidelines.

· Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues as needed to ensure satisfaction.

· Maintain a clean, organized work area and support overall service department operations.

· Other job duties as assigned. 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

· High school or equivalent (required).

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required).

· Automotive service: 2 years (preferred).

· Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to explain technical information in a clear and customer-friendly way.

· Proficient with service management systems and basic office software.

· Knowledge of vehicle systems, manufacturer maintenance schedules, and general automotive terminology.

· Ability to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and manage time efficiently.
