Service Advisor

We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our Service Department based out of our Laredo office.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with parts Identification, ordering, receiving and verification
• Parts Returns & Credits: Returns incorrect or defective parts and reorders, updating the management system. Ensures that credits are processed accurately and promptly.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and scheduling. Greet customers at the location and assists customers via phone and e-mail.
• Assist with parts inventories and cycle counts, procurement, storage and billing.
• Assist in the daily coordination of repair and maintenance work schedules
• Coordinate with safety department to notify drivers of services due
• Responsible for ensuring all parts received are labelled
• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.

• Valid Driver license with clean driving record.
• Post-secondary education preferred.
• Knowledge of truck parts and equipment.
• Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written)
• Willing to work extended hours and on weekends.
• Ability work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as a parts clerk/coordinator is an asset.
• Hard worker with positive attitude.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.

While performing the duties of this job, you are required to stand, walk, sit. You will be required lift and/or move up to 50lbs/22.5kg.
