Job Description - Service Advisor



We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated professional to join our service team as an Automotive Service Advisor! The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong CSI and selling skills to assist our customers with all their service needs. We offer a competitive pay plan and an exceptional benefit package. Service Advisor Responsibilities:


 



  • Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from their initial call / visit to the release of their vehicle

  • Work with the customer to understand reported problems

  • Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts and accessories by explaining each service needed

  • Translate customer-reported problems into actionable work orders for technicians to complete

  • Communicate with the customer to keep them informed and updated throughout the entire service of their vehicle

  • Maintain a high Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by effectively communicating with customers and handling complaints immediately and appropriately

  • Stay up to date on new products, features and accessories

  • Excellent communication skills with customers

  • Strong focus on providing excellent customer service, willing to go above and beyond for customers

  • Excellent selling skills

  • Team oriented and self-motivated


 


Service Advisor Requirements:


 




  • Minimum 1 year experience in an automotive service advisor role



  • Experience with Dealertrack preferred, but not required

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
