Service Advisor

Taylor Grubaugh Chevrolet - Waynesville is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Waynesville, MO. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring their service needs are understood and met with exceptional care and professionalism. You will work closely with our service technicians to coordinate repairs and maintenance, provide clear and accurate estimates, and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the entire service process.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish.


• Listen carefully to customers’ concerns and accurately diagnose vehicle service needs.


• Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs.


• Prepare work orders and communicate effectively with technicians and parts departments.


• Ensure timely completion and delivery of vehicle repairs and maintenance.


• Follow up with customers post-service to confirm satisfaction and address any additional needs.


• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records.


• Promote upselling of services and maintenance where appropriate to enhance customer vehicle care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a service advisor or customer service role within an automotive service environment preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.


• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and use time management skills effectively.


• Familiarity with automotive terminology and basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.


• Proficient computer skills including experience with service management software.
