Job Description - Service Advisor Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Service Advisor Assistant to support our Service Advisors in delivering a premium customer experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced automotive service environment.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Customer Interaction: Assist with customer reception, appointment check-in, and check-out processes while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

  • Administrative Support: Prepare, update, and organize repair orders; schedule service appointments; and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with company policies.

  • Communication Management: Provide timely updates to customers regarding service status, appointment reminders, and post-service follow-ups.

  • Workflow Coordination: Support Service Advisors in managing repair orders and liaising between customers, technicians, and the parts department to ensure prompt service delivery.

  • Documentation Accuracy: Verify that all service records and invoices are complete, precise, and properly filed.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with parts requests, invoice preparation, and other operational tasks as assigned to facilitate departmental efficiency.


 


Qualifications



  • Prior experience in automotive service, customer service, or administrative support desirable

  • Proficiency with basic computer applications; familiarity with dealership management software is an asset

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
