Job Overview
As a Service Advisor/Collections Agent, you will serve as the key liaison between our customers and the repair technicians, while also managing accounts receivable and performing collections tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Service Advisor Duties:

• Greet customers and assess service needs for welding equipment
• Create service orders and communicate repair timelines
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate work completion
• Update customers on repair status and answer service-related inquiries
• Ensure proper documentation of repairs and maintain accurate service records

Collections Duties:

• Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances
• Contact customers via phone, email, and mail to collect overdue payments
• Work with customers to resolve billing issues or set up payment plans
• Maintain accurate records of communications and payments received
• Escalate unresolved accounts as needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, service writing, collections, or related fields
• Basic understanding of welding tools/equipment or willingness to learn
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficient with basic computer systems (email, invoicing, spreadsheets)

Requirements

• Must have basic PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots
• Reliable transportation to and from our Tucson location
• Strong attention to detail and customer-focused attitude
