Roofing Technician Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Steep slope roofing experience


• Flat Roof repairs experience

• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training 


• Knowledge and experience with multiple types of commercial roofing systems or construction in general (preferred but not required)


• Aerial Lift (preferred)


• Some experience with metal roofing (1-2 years of roofing experience preferred but not required)


• Enthusiasm for working outside in the elements and being physically active 


• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and think outside-the-box 


• Dependable and able to be at work on time and on a consistent basis
  


• Presentable in appearance, and professional when communicating with both customers and Benton Team Members
  


• Sharpen up your Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) knowledge so you’re a top-notch construction industry member
  


• Knowledge and experience with multiple types of roofing systems (preferred but not required)
  


• Experience using a hot air welder and/or other roofing system application tools (preferred but not required)
  


• Hungry to start a career with the opportunity to advance within the company
