Service & Repair Technician

Responsibilities:

• Travel to customer facilities to perform equipment installation activities.
   
• Conduct refurbishing and repairs either at the customer’s location or in-house.
   
• Provide support to production operations during non-travel periods.
   
• Assist customers with technical support and troubleshooting, as needed.
   
• Collaborate with the Service Manager and administrative staff to support service operations.
   
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

• Education:
   
  • High school diploma or GED required.
     
• Training:
   
  • On-the-job training provided in accordance with documented training records.
     
  • M2M-specific training may be provided.
     
• Skills:
   
  • Basic measuring and mathematical proficiency.
     
  • Strong organizational skills are essential.
     
• Travel:
   
  • Nationwide travel required.
     
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time.
     
• Experience:
   
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
     
  • Electrical experience is required.
     
  • Sheet metal capabilities are a plus.
     
• Hearing Ability:
   
  • Must be able to monitor sounds to identify and diagnose changes, and take appropriate safety measures.
     
• Physical Requirements:
   
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
     
  • Requires the ability to stand, walk, push, reach overhead, and bend to the floor.
     
• Working Conditions:
   
  • Exposure to potential hazards such as moving machinery, high noise levels, and contact with oils and cutting fluids.
     
  • May be exposed to fumes, dust, and mist.
