Job Description - Service BDC




There's plenty of room to grow at I-5 Cars! If you have interest in working in a fast-paced, high-reward industry; you've come to the right place. I-5 Cars is looking to add an Automotive Service BDC to our team.  The Automotive BDC Representative plays a key role in the success of the dealership by effectively managing customer inquiries and appointments. They will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, emails, and online leads to schedule appointments, follow up with customers, and ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong customer service focus.

  • Full-time position, Tuesday-Saturday 11:00am-close

  • Hourly pay $19.00/ hour plus monthly performance bonus

Responsibilities: 





  • Make outbound calls to follow up on service appointments and/or schedule new appointments

  • Call customers to review service schedule products and programs

  • Answer overflow incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff, answering questions, and taking messages as needed

  • Make outbound calls to customers from call lists provided

  • Greeting and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner

  • Coordinate appointments and answer inquiries about automotive service department.

  • Provide effective and courteous service to all visitors and existing employees

  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by management 




Requirements: 




  •  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 


  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation 




  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively 




  • Occasionally be able to lift 30-40 pound file boxes 




  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
