The Cashier:

• Is focused on the process of understanding and meeting customer needs
• Must have basic knowledge of accounting software
• Should know the basic models of vehicle sold
• Should demonstrate sensitivity towards customers and a strong interest in exceeding customer’s expectations.
• Must have polished communications skills with customers, in order to talk to customers regarding their questions and needs
• Must work with all department heads and staff in a competent manner with decorum
• Must work with the receptionist to serve as a fill-in if needed.
• Is capable of addressing the possibility of missing paperwork.
• Presents a positive image of the retail facility and the brand, both in mode of dress and in a helpful and positive attitude.

• Entails knowing the entire retail facility thoroughly, department to department
• Involves continually learning about how to relate to customers and their needs and wants
• Requires building strong interdepartmental relationships
• Involves risk and satisfaction, long hours, and teamwork.
• Involves being cross-trained to various departments as fill-in help as needed
• Ability to convey the proper paperwork, ie, internals, warranty, to the appropriate departments for completion.
