Job Description - Service Coordinator

Newtown Fireplace Shop has been providing Bucks county and the surrounding communities with expert fireplace service and installations for over 40 years. As the premier fireplace contractor in the northeastern PA, we strive to serve our customers with excellent support and superior service.

We are seeking an experienced in-office dispatcher/service coordinator for scheduling customer appointments, dispatching technicians, and data entry of invoices and contracts.

Candidate must be detail oriented, able to work with a group and possess excellent telephone and computer skills ( i.e. Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite).

Duties:

Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications or needs.

Confer with customers or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.

Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate service and schedules.

Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and field technicians.

Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory and other dispatch information.

Determine time required for job services needed and allocate and update scheduling calendar

Proficiency in phone, computer & email.

Ability to multi-task.

Other duties as needed.

Valid PA driver's license

Ability to sit for long periods of time up to 9 hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 hours per week overtime available in busy season
