About the Role We're looking for a Director of Service to lead our field service operation from the front. This is the person who owns how the work gets done across every branch, every crew, every job. You'll set the standard for service quality, keep our operations running efficiently, develop the people below you, and make sure our clients keep coming back. If you've led teams, driven results in the field, and know how to turn daily chaos into a well-run operation, this is your seat. You'll lead the dispatch/scheduling and project management functions, oversee field crews and equipment across locations, and be a key voice in how Diamond grows. This is a hands-on leadership role, not a corner office you'll be in the mix, in the field, and in front of clients.

Key Responsibilities Operations Leadership

• Own daily service delivery across all branches—dispatch, scheduling, field crews, and project management


• Build and enforce consistent processes, standards, and accountability across every location


• Set and track operational KPIs (utilization, on-time performance, job completion, rework)


• Balance workload, crews, and equipment to keep every branch running efficiently

Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop coordinators, project managers, and field operators


• Drive a merit-based, people-first culture where effort gets noticed and people grow


• Handle hiring, training, and performance management alongside HR


• Set the tone on safety, professionalism, and teamwork every day

Customer & Client Management

• Own key client relationships and be the escalation point when it matters


• Ensure every job meets Diamond's quality and safety standards


• Turn client feedback into operational improvements

Safety & Compliance

• Champion a safety-first culture and enforce OSHA-certified standards across all crews


• Partner on incident review, corrective action, and continuous improvement


• Make sure the right training, certifications, and equipment are in place

Resource & Fleet Coordination

• Oversee planning for saws, trucks, equipment, and materials across branches


• Anticipate equipment needs and coordinate maintenance/readiness with the team


• Keep the right people and the right gear in the right place at the right time

What You'll Need

• Proven leadership experience in field service, construction, or operations (multi-site a strong plus)


• Track record of leading teams and hitting operational targets


• Strong understanding of scheduling, dispatch, and field logistics


• Confident communicator who can lead crews, work with clients, and report to leadership


• Sharp problem-solver who stays calm and decisive when jobs change on the fly


• Commitment to safety, quality, and doing the job right


• Familiarity with scheduling/ops software and digital tools


• Concrete cutting, sawing, drilling, or GPR experience is a plus but strong operational leadership matters most
