Service Coordinator & Cashier

Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, trustworthy, and organized person to join our service team. In this role, you will help keep things running smoothly by greeting customers in person and over the phone, handling payments, processing incoming vehicle inventory, and helping manage our loaner car fleet. It’s a great fit for someone who is organized, good with people, and comfortable handling financial transactions.

What You’ll Do

• Handle Payments: Take customer payments for service and parts. Review bills with customers so they understand their charges. Balance the cash drawer at the end of the day.


• Manage Loaner Cars: Keep track of our courtesy loaner vehicles, check customer driver's licenses and insurance, and cars when they leave and return, Coordinate vehicle cleanings, fueling, and routine maintenance.


• Process Vehicle Inventory: Receive and check in keys for new and used vehicle arrivals. Organize and review Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) paperwork and inspection checklists, and enter CPO approvals into the manufacturer's portal to activate warranties


• Schedule Appointments: Answer incoming phone calls and warmly greet customers. Book maintenance and service appointments using our scheduling system, and let clients know about estimated wait times, shuttle options, or available loaner cars.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in retail, cash handling, or dealership front desk/administrative work.


• Skills: Strong basic math skills, reliable attention to detail, and a calm, friendly customer service style.


• Technology: Tech-savvy with ability to learn new software quickly. Familiarity with automotive systems like CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or Dealertrack is preferred.


• Requirements: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check.
