Assignment Information
Location: Remote OK must reside within 50-100 miles of USC 100 % MUST be able to pick up equipment on first day.

****The job seeker will likely be issued a set schedule but we do run a 24/7 service desk so there are 3 shifts. Morning, Mid, Night much like nursing or hospitality candidates should expect that any of those shifts could be assigned as needed.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 1st, 2nd, or 3rd SHIFTS AS SCHEDULED.

Summary:
Service Desk Agent I is responsible for supporting the end user community at the Keck Medicine of USC hospitals and clinic locations. This position will provide support for all users experiencing problems with the clinical application software suite, various operating systems, business productivity software, network and Wi-Fi connectivity and other computer related technology.

Minimum Education:
" High School Diploma
" Associate's Degree in a related field is preferred.

Minimum Experience:
" Must be available to work any shift
" Minimum of 3 years of IT and 2 years' experience in Service Desk Support
" Experience working in a call center handling tickets daily (30+)
" Must demonstrate excellent customer service, written & verbal communication skills; triage, track & monitor ticket progress per required SLA & follow escalation procedures. Must demonstrate ability to learn quickly and adapt to new & changing environments along with the willingness to take on additional responsibilities;
" Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in a team setting as needed and follow-up towards the successful completion of assigned tasks.
" Duties include end user support, quickly analyze & diagnose application/system issues, creating & updating user accounts in
Active Directory & other systems, performs software installs, PC maintenance and maintain communication for planned & unplanned outages.

Medical Enterprise - Non-Clinical Onboarding - Must complete all onboarding requirements prior to the start date, with no exceptions.

**USC Medical Enterprise Customer Requirement: Fully vaccinated with Covid-23-24 Vaccine. The facility accepts signed personal/religious/medical exemptions approved by EHS.

Religious exemptions are not applicable for MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B vaccinations. Additionally, completing the religious exemptions form for COVID-19 and Flu shots does not automatically cover exemptions for MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B.

Drug Screen - 10 panel - Must be taken within 72 hours or the offer is rescinded

Bloodwork (Titers) to show they are immune to MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella), Varicella (Chickenpox) & Hepatitis B, or in the event that they do not have this, provide proof they had injections (shot records):
