The Service Dispatcher will be responsible for dispatching service technicians to service calls. Along with dispatching service calls, this position will work to achieve optimal efficiencies helping us to achieve our service level customer expectations. Communication skills are very important as you will work with both internal and external customers. In this role, you will gain a sense of accomplishment by being part of a team helping solve customer problems. The Service Dispatcher will help ensure that our company maintains its profitability and productive environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Dispatching new service calls to local techniciansMonitoring and tailoring daily schedules to optimize response times. 
• This may include the rescheduling of calls to another techFollowing up on open parts calls for techs to speed up completion
• Keeping customers updated on the status of open calls
• Working with the Help Desk and solutions to triage and troubleshoot calls and if possible complete calls without an on-site visit
• Assist in the coordination of the local installation of printers and copiers

• Bachelor’s degree or suitable equivalent experience may be considered
• Minimum three years office experience – dispatch experience preferred
• Recognized ability to work independently, possess good organizational skills, work well within a team, being personable & focused on meeting customer expectations, naturally patient, & stay calm during stressful times
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word, Mac OS, & Windows (e-Automate considered a plus)
