Summary/Objective
National HVAC Service’s service dispatchers are responsible for professionally receiving incoming service calls, dispatching service technicians for these calls, and supporting company’s customers. Service dispatchers also schedule and dispatch for preventive maintenance customers. 

Essential Functions

• Receiving and managing all service customer calls.
• Coordinating the assignment of service technicians to scheduled work and emergency service calls.
• Scheduling services based on the expected complexity of the call against the capabilities of the available technician.
• Efficiently coordinating technicians assignments to reduce travel times and visit to shop. 
• Tracking and updating the computerized dispatch board based on work completion.
• Maintaining liaison with the service manager and the service accountant on problem accounts receivables.
• Working with other department managers and employees in support of all facets of the service department.
• Resolving customer concerns and complaints in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
• Maximizing the efficient use and allocation of the technician's time.
• Perform limited sales support in process of scheduling work for the service department.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

· 2+ years’ experience as a service dispatcher

· Computer literacy 

· Excellent customer service skills 

· Must be able to work independently and as a team member 

· Strong communication and documentation skills 

· Satisfactory completion of company background check, drug screening.
