Service Dispatcher | Automotive

Performance Toyota Fairfield is seeking a Service Dispatcher to coordinate workflow and support our service team. Strong organizational and communication skills, along with experience in efficient scheduling, are valued. COMPENSATION: 

• $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year salary plus bonus 
• based on department performance

WORK SCHEDULE: Hours are Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 PM

Service Dispatcher responsibilities:

• Efficiently schedule daily service shop's work 
• Distribute work fairly and equitably to the most qualified technician who can have the work completed promptly based on the promised time
• Verify technicians are properly disposing of warranty parts and materials 
• Review technician notes and make sure repairs were properly documented
• Confirm multi-point inspection forms and videos are fully completed
• Assure a copy of the vehicle history is attached to all warranty repair orders
• Comprehensive dispatch logs turned in to the Service Manager daily
• Log carry-overs daily to be best prepared for the next day.
• Communicate with Advisors, Techs, and the Parts Department regarding the status of repairs
• Random checking of timeliness and quality of repairs
• Assure when work is completed that repair orders are closed 
• Service Manaager may assign other duties as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous experience as a Dealership Service Dispatcher preferred, not required
• 3-4 year’s experience as an Automotive Technician preferred
• Basic computer literacy required
• Possess a driver's license with a driving record that will allow you to drive customer and company vehicles
