Service Electrician

A Team Home Services is looking for a Service Electrician to join our team. The Service Electrician will be based in and around Austin, Texas and is responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance. The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has superior support skills and excellent communication. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service.

Responsibilities: 

• Oversee with the installation of electrical wiring in homes, including rough-ins, outlets, light fixtures, and breaker panels. Read blueprints and electrical diagrams to follow wiring plans.
• Troubleshoot each problem and guide customers on how to properly use equipment. Create reports of customer service calls. Make suggestions for equipment upgrades while maintaining the current inventory, including vans and trucks.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols as well as ensuring all work performed complies with safety standards and regulations. 
• Serve as the license holder on certain jobs

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED required;
• 2 years experience as a licensed Wireman or Journeyman Electrician
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
• Pass a background and drug screening (required)
• OSHA 10 - Construction Certification (preferred)
• Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manner
• Ability to lift to 55 pounds
• Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Computer skills including Microsoft office
• Working knowledgeable about all safety requirements

Compensation:
$30-$35 training and non-commission rate, with a potential to earn $60,000-$120,000 in commission.
