Service Engineer - Electrical

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Service Engineer (Electrical) to provide installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for industrial processing and packaging equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong electrical engineering background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment.


• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.


• Diagnose and resolve electrical, PLC, control panel, and automation-related issues.


• Respond to machine breakdowns and provide timely technical support.


• Prepare service reports and maintain maintenance records.


• Train customers on machine operation and basic maintenance.


• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and support spare parts requirements.


• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.


• Travel to customer sites for installation and service support as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.


• Candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience in service engineering, industrial maintenance, or automation will be given preference.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, VFDs, sensors, control panels, and PLCs.


• Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot electrical faults.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Good communication and customer service skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.


• Willingness to travel frequently for field service assignments.
