Service Journeyman Electrician

Position Overview
We're hiring Journeyman-level Service Electricians to join our Reno/Sparks-based field service team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on diagnosing and resolving electrical issues in residential and commercial settings. Ideal candidates will be strong communicators who can explain technical issues clearly to clients and complete work efficiently and safely.

Candidates must bring a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, able to switch from residential to large commercial-scale projects. Preference will be given to those looking to transition from high-volume environments (such as local manufacturing or gigafactory settings) to a service-focused role where quality, client interaction, and autonomy are valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform panel upgrades, wiring, receptacle, and electrical box installs
• Troubleshoot and repair high-voltage electrical systems
• Install and service electrical components in residential and light commercial properties
• Communicate effectively with clients about the scope of work and recommendations
• Identify upsell opportunities and provide value-driven service
• Maintain accurate documentation of service calls and repairs
• Operate and maintain a company-provided electric service vehicle
• Adhere to all safety standards, local codes, and internal protocols

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of electrical experience
• Journeyman-level experience required; NV license preferred but not required
• Strong residential and commercial service background
• Experience with panel work, wiring upgrades, and troubleshooting
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
