Position Summary: The Service Department Valet / Shop Cleaner is a vital part of the customer service and operational efficiency of our dealership. This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the service shop and for providing prompt, courteous service to our customers by moving and parking vehicles. The ideal candidate is a reliable, hard-working individual with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

    Greet customers in the service lane with a friendly and professional demeanor.

    Safely and efficiently move customer vehicles to the designated service parking area.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Retrieve customer vehicles from the service lot upon completion of service and present them to the customer.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Ensure all vehicles are parked in an organized and space-efficient manner.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Assist with moving new and used inventory as needed, following all safety protocols.

    
    
  
  
  
  


• 
  

  Shop and Facility Maintenance:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the service department and shop floor. This includes sweeping, mopping, and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

    Dispose of trash, used parts, and other debris from the shop throughout the day.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Clean and maintain service department common areas, including the breakroom and restrooms, as needed.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Assist with general maintenance tasks as assigned, such as organizing parts or cleaning equipment.

    
    
  
  
  • 
    

    Ensure all fluid spills are cleaned up promptly to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  High School diploma or equivalent.

  Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
