About Vermeer Southeast Vermeer Southeast Sales & Service, Inc,  founded in 1967 is a heavy equipment sales and services dealer with locations in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. In 2018 VSE became a 100% employee-owned company. About the role       Vermeer Southeast  is currently seeking an experienced  Service Manager  to organize and coordinate the operations of the service department. What you'll do Ensure that employees are available for key positions by anticipating and planning for the future staffing needs. Effectively manages staff through active performance management and implementation of a meaningful development process. Provide needed service solutions that address customer concerns and enhance customer experience. Lead a team that markets Vermeer products and services by soliciting customers through applicable sales strategies. Analyze existing shop time and space, customer demand and market share trends to maximize department’s full profit potential. Qualifications Graduation from high school, GED equivalent, or equivalent in-service operations and labor selling at the management level. College degree a plus. One (1) year leadership experience with demonstrated communication and leadership skills. Previous Industry experience. Ability to clearly communicate as well as understand read and follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to multi-task and be detailed orientated with demonstrated follow through and organizational skills.
