Job Description - Service Manager



A shop in Taylor, MI has been in business for over 20 years, and we are looking to continue to grow our company with great people who are responsible and loyal, if you are looking for a company that you can retire with, a company who cares and shows appreciation then we are the company for you.
 
 RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Ability to meet and exceed goals/expectations Meets/greets customers in person or on phone.

  • Follow and manage the processes, practices and standards that are set Provide "Best in class" customer service & unique customer experience.

  • Ability to communicate with employees & customers and keep everyone on the same page Make decisions, critical thinking and work well under-pressure.

  • Fully Understands customers situation and vehicle needs and provides accurate advice on best repair options.

  • Manages delivery of required repair action by successfully setting and managing customer expectations.

  • Maintains documentation, including PO, invoices, work orders, reports, etc. 

  • Enforces organizational safety standards.  

  • Takes 'ownership' and accepts accountability for delivering outstanding service levels 

  • Inventory & Facility management

  • Direct the workflow in the service department, overseeing a team of technicians

  • Meet and exceed defined objectives, store performance, and sales goals

  • Assist in hiring, interviewing and employee relations concerns

  • Lead, coach, and train store employees

Qualifications 

  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, positive attitude, enthusiastic Team-player, results-oriented, professional, and reliable Personable; Interactive, Encouraging.

  • Energetic personality, Empathetic Verifiable customer service performance record People-person, Interactive, Encouraging.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, Ability to think on feet, problem solving skills.

  • Great time-management skill especially with bay management, critical thinking.

  •  Must be proficient at Computer/technology Neat, clean, and professional appearance. 

  • Sales/and or Management experience is a plus Experience in the Auto.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings
