Cecil Atkission Motors is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong operational knowledge, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team while driving profitability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the service department.


• Lead, coach, and develop service advisors, technicians, and support staff.


• Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.


• Monitor workflow, technician productivity, and shop efficiency to maximize performance.


• Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, company policies, and safety regulations.


• Review financial performance, control departmental expenses, and achieve sales and profitability goals.


• Manage scheduling, repair order quality, and vehicle delivery timelines.


• Work closely with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of parts.


• Recruit, train, and retain top-performing team members.


• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of automotive service management experience.


• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.


• Proven ability to manage budgets, departmental KPIs, and profitability.


• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.


• Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) preferred.


• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
