Position
The Service Manager is an extremely important position in our organization and is responsible for all aspects of customer care and all personnel in the service branch. This position involves the interaction in all aspects of our business from taking excellent care of customers, hiring top grade service personnel, interfacing with plant production, input on purchasing, and implementing new business from our sales department. All facets of the operation will come into play. This position requires progressive thinking, the ability to assimilate various data streams, great interpersonal communication, and the ability to effectively manage your time.
Primary Areas of Responsibilities & Tasks
Provide strong leadership for assigned branch.
All staffing functions of the branch including Customer Service Representatives, Shuttle Drivers, and branch support staff.
Responsible for all personnel policies, discipline, hiring, firing
Maintaining and documenting correct inventory levels for customers in branch.
Maintaining Customer Contract Renewals for branch and protecting the STS Core.
Maintaining STS Customer Service Representative’s uniform program & Policing S.T.S policy in regards to Dress Code.
Maintaining employee engagement initiative.
Represent and teach STS Core Purpose and Values.
Manage and achieve all labor goals.
Protect company linen assets by managing all loss/replacement objectives.
Plan, budget and participate in the ordering of material goods.
Participate in a minimum of 2 route rides/CSR evaluations per month.
Responsible for all hiring and terminations within assigned branch.
Problem Solving
Anticipate and prepare for potential challenges by developing and/or maintaining plans for seasonal and event-based fluctuations.
Prevent problems through planning, tenacity and proper communications.
Resolve issues in an expedient manner while always searching out the best long-term solution to prevent future issues.
