📢 Now Hiring: Service Monitors, Lead Monitors & Program Director


Location: VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System – “Tiny Village” Community (11301 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA)
Employer: Augustine Angels, LLC (pending federal contract award)
Type: Full-Time, 24/7/365 coverage – Multiple shifts available



About the Role
Augustine Angels is seeking dedicated and reliable professionals to serve as Service Monitors, Lead Monitors, and a Program Director for the VA’s “Tiny Village” community. This program supports veterans experiencing homelessness by providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment.


Open Positions
1. Service Monitors

  • Provide 24/7 coverage in assigned shifts (day, evening, or overnight).

  • Monitor resident activities, ensure safety, and report incidents.

  • Assist with facility access, visitor logs, and basic support needs.



2. Lead Monitors

  • Supervise Service Monitors on shift.

  • Handle admissions, food distribution, and safety inspections.

  • Document incidents and coordinate with VA staff and security.



3. Program Director

  • Provide leadership and oversight for all staff.

  • Ensure contract compliance, reporting, and staff scheduling.

  • Liaison with VA representatives and oversee quality of care.



Requirements (all monitor staff must have):

  • High School Diploma/GED (Bachelor’s required for Program Director).

  • 1+ year of experience working with homeless or at-risk populations.


  • CPR, First Aid, AED, and Narcan certification (must obtain prior to start).


  • California Food Handler Card (must obtain prior to start).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a diverse environment with cultural sensitivity.

  • Background check required.




Additional for Program Director: Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of supervisory experience in housing, homelessness services, or related field.


Shifts Available


  • Day: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM


  • Evening: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM


  • Overnight: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM
