Downtown Ford Sacramento is seeking a Service Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) Videographer to enhance our customer experience by delivering high-quality, informative, and engaging video inspections of vehicles. This role is critical in bridging the gap between our service technicians and customers, providing a transparent and trust-building experience.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic communicator with a strong sales-oriented mindset, capable of clearly explaining inspection findings in a way that educates and engages customers while promoting necessary repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Multi-Point Inspections (MPIs):
Record professional, high-quality videos of vehicle inspections in coordination with service technicians.
Clearly articulate inspection results, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
Ensure each video is informative, visually clear, and delivered in a timely manner.
Customer Engagement & Sales Influence:
Present vehicle conditions in a way that builds customer trust and increases service department sales.
Use persuasive yet ethical language to encourage necessary repairs and maintenance.
Maintain a professional and positive tone in all video communications.
Technical & Operational Excellence:
Work efficiently to ensure timely completion of videos to avoid delays in customer decision-making.
Collaborate closely with service advisors to ensure consistency in messaging and recommendations.
Maintain and troubleshoot video equipment as needed.
Ensure compliance with dealership standards and brand guidelines.
Quality Control & Continuous Improvement:
Review videos for clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness before submission.
Continuously improve video communication techniques based on feedback and results.
Stay updated on best practices for customer engagement and sales-oriented video presentations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Communication & Sales Skills:
Strong verbal communication skills with a clear and engaging speaking voice.
Ability to break down complex vehicle issues into easy-to-understand explanations.
Sales-minded approach to presenting inspection findings.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of automotive service terminology and repair processes.
Familiarity with video recording equipment and editing software is a plus.
Ability to learn and operate dealership software for recording and sending videos.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
