Service Operations Center Engineer

For one of our clients we're looking for a Service Operations Center (SOC) Engineer. As a SOC Engineer at Datasur, you are responsible for monitoring, managing, and optimising operational activities within the Service Operations Center (SOC), which operates 24/7 and therefore works in shifts. You act as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and customers and contribute to reliable service delivery through a customer -focused and proactive approach.

As a SOC Engineer at Datasur, you are responsible for monitoring, managing, and optimising operations within the 24/7 Service Operations Center, working in shifts to ensure continuous service delivery. You act as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and customers, proactively monitoring systems, handling incidents and service requests, and providing hands -on technical support. In addition, you maintain regular customer communication in line with SLAs, represent the organisation professionally, and support clients with technical inquiries. The role also includes accurate documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks, such as managing requests, maintaining records, and conducting checks on inventory and facilities to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
