Service Operations Coordinator

Support Service Excellence, Streamline Processes, and Drive Operational Success

At Motor Services Hugo Stamp (MSHS) and Pacific Power Group, we deliver essential maintenance, repair, and overhaul services to sustain critical operations in the marine engine and backup power generation sectors. We’re seeking an Operations Coordinator to support workshop service operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, high-quality customer experience, and continuous process improvement. About the Role:

As an Operations Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate service work orders (SWOs): Open and manage SWOs, ensure clear communication with service managers, and resolve discrepancies.
     
  • Manage invoicing and expense tracking: Accurately record time, travel expenses, and service bookings; issue clean invoices within five business days.
     
  • Ensure quality control: Oversee work quality, productivity, and workshop processes to improve end-product reliability and customer satisfaction.
     
  • Support workshop processes: Design and implement efficiency-boosting processes, track technician safety and time efficiency, and monitor service margins.
     
  • Provide timely updates: Keep stakeholders informed on project schedules and proactively resolve service-related issues.
     
  • Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance service operations and support the growth and cross-training of workshop staff.
     

What You Bring:

Education & Experience

  • Degree: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain, technical science, or a related field – or equivalent experience (minimum of 3 years in a related role).
     
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the maritime and energy industries is preferred.
     

Key Skills & Abilities

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with reading technical drawings (standard and metric measurements) and interpreting technical documents is a plus.
     
  • Customer Service Orientation: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
     
  • ERP Experience: Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
     
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to perform multiple tasks, manage priorities, and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
     
  • Dependability: Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
     

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Wage Range: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour (based on skills and experience).
     
  • Work Location: Motor Services Hugo Stamp – 3305 SW 3rd Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
     
  • Travel Expectations: Up to 25%.
