Job Summary:

As a Residential Plumbing Service Technician, you’ll handle service calls in private homes—diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and installing new fixtures and systems. You’ll be expected to build trust with customers, clearly communicate solutions, and confidently recommend additional services or upgrades when appropriate. Your goal is to ensure the job is done right the first time and leave the customer with peace of mind (and maybe a better water heater, too).

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot residential plumbing issues efficiently
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and installations of household plumbing systems
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners
• Recommend additional services, upgrades, or preventative solutions (e.g., tankless water heaters, water filtration systems, service plans)
• Educate customers on long-term plumbing health and cost-saving options
• Accurately prepare quotes and service invoices using company software
• Maintain a clean work area and company vehicle
• Attend ongoing training to stay sharp on technical skills and upselling techniques 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential plumbing service
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Comfortable presenting upgrade options and service recommendations
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Service Titan (Not required but helpful)
