Position Summary

BME Services LLC is seeking an experienced Service Plumber with a strong background in plumbing maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate will be backflow certified and have the ability to work effectively in diverse environments. This role requires active participation in a rotating on-call schedule to ensure prompt service and customer support during critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial facilities.


• Address issues with water supply, drainage, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance.


• Utilize your backflow certification to install, test, and maintain backflow prevention devices.


• Ensure compliance with local and national codes regarding backflow prevention.


• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.


• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, providing emergency service calls as needed to resolve critical issues promptly.


• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.


• Maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and maintenance work performed.


• Adhere to all safety protocols and local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.


• Ensure work areas are kept safe and organized at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Service Plumber or in a similar plumbing role.


• Must be backflow certified.


• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.


• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
