Service Porter

Core responsibilities:

• Vehicle movement and organization: Moving vehicles to different locations on the lot, such as from the service intake area to a technician's bay or into the display lot.


• Lot and service area upkeep: Keeping the service department and customer waiting area clean and organized.


• Customer interaction: Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering basic questions, and sometimes driving customers to their homes or workplaces.


• Administrative support: Documenting vehicle information, placing service tags, and helping to prepare vehicles for customers by placing seat covers and floor mats.


• Assisting technicians: Providing support to service technicians as needed, such as moving vehicles or retrieving parts. 

Required skills and qualifications

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.


• The ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is often required.


• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.


• Good attention to detail for tasks like vehicle inspections and documentation.


• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
