Service Porter

As a Service Porter at Brinson Chevrolet in Kaufman, TX, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department. This position involves assisting with vehicle movement, cleanliness, and organization to help maintain a professional and efficient environment. You will be the first point of contact for vehicles coming into service and help create a positive experience for our customers through your attention to detail and dedication. Responsibilities

• Move vehicles throughout the service drive and lot safely and efficiently


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service lot and drive areas


• Assist service technicians by retrieving vehicles and other tasks as assigned


• Ensure that vehicles are properly parked and staged for service and customer pickup


• Communicate effectively with service advisors and team members to support smooth workflow


• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning windows and checking fluid levels

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record


• Ability to safely operate vehicles of various sizes and types


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions


• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks


• Physical ability to move vehicles, stand for extended periods, and perform light cleaning duties
