Job Description - Service Receptionist/Appointment Coordinator



Century Ford Mt Airy is seeking a friendly and dynamic Service Receptionist/Appointment Coordinator to join our team in Mount Airy, MD. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, assisting with car service questions, and managing customer complaints to ensure a superior customer experience.


Responsibilities



  • Greet customers, answer inquiries and assist them with their vehicle service needs over the phone

  • Make appointment service schedules; maintain and update customer information

  • Maintain accurate records of service jobs and customer complaints

  • Provide superior customer service ensuring customer’s satisfaction and build customer loyalty

  • Work with technicians and service advisors to coordinate appointments, repair times, and customer follow ups

  • Maintain overall neatness of service reception area and ensure necessary supplies are always available

  • Assist in scheduling of shuttle services


Requirements



  • Previous experience in customer service and retail environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tasks

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues

  • Solid proficiency in computers for data entry and order processing

  • Knowledge of service system is an advantage


Dealership experience and CDK operating system experience preferred, but not required.
